I recently ordered your CDs and wanted to let you know that they are even better than I expected. I have been selling advertising for 25 years and have been very successful, so I thought it would be easy for me to sell my jewelry. But now I realize it is much different selling my own work due to the emotional investment. Your suggestion about not taking what the customer says personally really hit home and I was greatly relieved to learn a positive way to respond to customers that are inconsiderate or rude. I am going to be in my first juried art show next weekend and also found the CD on booth design invaluable. I had already done a lot of research; talked to successful show artists, gone to many outdoor shows to get ideas from attractive booths, visited several companies that built professional displays, but I have to tell you that you covered things that I hadn''t even considered like: “people who are able to touch your work are four times more likely to buy it”. That one statement caused me to totally redesign what I had planned for my displays. I am really glad I found that out before I had purchased $1500 worth of glassed-in portable cases. While working in my studio I have been listening to the CD on Dynamic Sales more times than I can say, in the hope that it will become automatic and I will be able to respond to customers naturally. It is really funny that I should be writing this because I had read another testimonial on your web site that the artist stated she “listened to your tape at least 40 times when I read that I thought "Well, that is a bit excessive". I have to admit that I have definitely passed that and I still have another 5 days of preparation. Keep up the good work and let me know when your new CD is available.
